Sneak Peek: New Logos!

As I wrote towards the end of 2017, I started the branding process with Annie Franchesci of Greatest Story Creative in November, and got to close out last year with a BRAND NEW NAME.

(FYI: Annie is totally amazing, and I'm her #1 Fan.)

Well, I now have some amazing primary logos to share with you, and even MORE SUPER EXCITING THINGS coming down the pike! If you follow us on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, you may have spotted some language changes, in addition to the new logos that I'm sharing below.

Would love to hear what you think about our look!

Accepting Where You Are

Hello, 2018!

When your gift over the holidays is a head cold that sticks around to help you ring in the New don’t necessarily do all the things you were hoping to have completed over the Winter Break and start of the New Year.

And that’s totally OK.

If I’ve learned anything in the past few years, it’s that we can simply do the best we can with wherever we are. We can’t control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond to it.

So, I’m taking a step back and sharing (only slightly belatedly) the things I am most excited for in 2018 (in no particular order):

  • Amazing new clients that I am so pumped to work with.

  • Speaking engagements to connect with new audiences.

  • Letting folks near and far know about the new package model I launched last month.

  • Positively thrilled to continue my branding work with Greatest Story Creative. (You’ll see more on that process as it happens. Next up: new logo!)

So much just over the horizon! Including me getting over my reticence of being here’s to embracing Facebook Live and some Instagram Stories in 2018! I’d be honored if you’d follow Back Up Your Life™ on either platform.

As a small indulgence, allow me to share with you a less than ideal quality image of where I found myself at the end of 2017: on the couch, under a literal pile of cats. (Mostly amazing because Murdock, the tuxedo cat, is not known for his snuggling.)

Wishing you and yours a healthy and meaningful 2018!

Packages have arrived!

No—I don't mean gift wrapped packages in time for the holidays. I mean the new Back Up Your Life™ package options!

For anyone who has been keeping an eye on my recently changing website: I promised to unveil a new package model by the middle of December. Well, the soft launch was last week! My desire was to make sure everything looked good and worked before sharing it officially on the blog.

Life and legacy planning services and support is a field in its infancy. Many people don’t know what to expect or how Back Up Your Life™ can help them. Hopefully, the structure of a package model will better outline the services available to them.

Please take a look to see the options we have for working together.

As always, you can schedule your complimentary thirty minute consultation. Feeling overwhelmed with the holidays and can’t think about it yet? I get it. But put something on the calendar for the start of 2018 and start to take control of all those things you know are Important, but aren’t Urgent.

Know someone who you think might get value from this service? I encourage you to forward them this email! Or have them fill out our contact form!

Wishing you and yours a most healthy and safe conclusion to 2017.

Firstly, I’d like to thank you for clicking through to this blog. I thought it best to make a quick introduction and lay out the topics that will be covered before we dive in.

My name is Annette Adamska, and I am the founder of Behind the Scenes Organizing, LLC, a Life and Legacy Organizing business based in Durham, NC. I may live in North Carolina, but through the wonders of technology, I work with clients all over the country virtually. My journey from professional organizing as a generalist to the niche of Life and Legacy Organizing for BTSO in early 2017 is a personal one, and you can find out more about why here.

I plan on covering a wide variety of material from the many aspects that are related to Life and Legacy Organizing. I’ll also share more about my experience, the lessons I learned in 2015, and my current observations of the world through this lens.

As far as frequency goes, I’ll start with two posts a month, and go from there. (I am, as I so often tell my clients, aiming to “set myself up for success".)

If you have any questions that aren’t answered on my website, or you have a topic you’d like me to consider for a blog post, don’t hesitate to reach out via my contact page!
